It is always important to have the up to date version of Viber to ensure that you have the latest fixes as well as the new features when available.

Android: Will update automatically. You will receive an SMS with the update link.

iPhone:

To upgrade to the latest version of Viber, please follow these instructions:

1. Go to your Home screen.
2. Tap and hold the Viber icon until the icon starts jiggling.
3. Tap on the 'x' to uninstall.
4. Download Viber from the AppStore.
5. Sync Viber onto your iPhone to install it.
6. Open Viber and set it up again (you can also use the access code that you received in your previous Viber setup, if you don’t receive the SMS).

To check your current Viber version, do the following:

1. Open Viber.
2. Tap on the More tab.
3. Tap on the About option.
4. Version number is shown under the Viber logo.
