Windows Phone: Deactivate your Viber account
Deactivation of your Viber account:

To deactivate your account, tap on the three dots icon ('More').

Select 'settings', then tap on the “Deactivate Viber” option.

All of your personal information will be automatically deleted. 

If you uninstalled Viber, you will need to reinstall it in order to deactivate your account. To reinstall, please follow the knowledgebase instructions.


If your device has been lost or stolen, you can reinstall Viber on your new device, using the phone number of the previous device.  This will activate the number onto your new device.

If you don't want to use your activated number any longer or want to use a new number, once you've activated Viber, go to the 'More' option and select 'Deactivate'.

You can then reinstall Viber using a new number.

If you don’t want to reinstall Viber, don’t worry. Your account will automatically be deleted after 45 days of inactivity.
