1. In the Viber task bar, tap on the Compose New Message icon (the open envelope)

Your contact list will then be displayed.

2. Choose a Viber contact(choose up to 40)

3. Type a message.

4. Send the message by tapping on the device Trackpad, or by selecting the device Menu button .

5. Once your Viber friend receives the message on his device, there will be an arrow displayed inside of the conversation bubble. If the receiver does not have Viber turned on, or is out of internet range, in place of the arrow icon, you will see a round timer icon.
